Protocol support
Every source and destination can speak more than one protocol. SRT and UDP MPEG-TS are included with every license, free trial included. RTMP, RIST, and NDI are individually licensed add-ons, as is the Peplink InControl2 integration (below) — buy the ones you need, or the Pro bundle to get all of them, including any add-on added to the catalog later, automatically and at no extra charge (the planned High Availability add-on is sold separately).

Usage-based licensing, not seats
- Unlimited concurrent installs.Run it on as many machines as you want — a backup box, a redundant instance, a second venue — at no extra cost. What's licensed is usage, not install count.
- Priced by sources and destinations.Each license includes a base number of sources/destinations, with a flat per-unit rate above that. Add-ons (RTMP/RIST/NDI/Peplink) are priced separately, per license, not per source/destination.

- License check-ins, and what they actually send.OmniBridge checks in with the license server about once an hour — just the license key, a random install ID, hostname, and your current source/destination counts, never feed content, source names, or IPs. If the server is briefly unreachable, a license confirmed within the last 24 hours keeps working uninterrupted (a short outage or flaky network never blocks a live show); an install that's never successfully reached the server at all runs unrestricted until it does, rather than failing closed. Losing contact for longer than 24 hours does require reconnecting to keep running.
Live routing
- Drag-and-drop routing matrix.Route any source to any destination slot live, with matching thumbnails and tally-colored status — no config file, no restart.
- Presets.Save a named routing snapshot and re-apply it in one click — the same way a broadcast router's salvo works.
- Return/program-out feeds.Send a destination's program output back out to any source, for a field operator to preview the mix they're contributing to.
- Routing survives a restart.Every source, destination, and route is written to disk the moment you make the change and reloaded automatically the next time the gateway starts.
Diagnostics
- Per-connection health.Bitrate, RTT, packet loss, retransmits, and reconnect history per source and destination.
- Live event log.A timestamped audit trail of every route/preset change and connect/disconnect, so you can answer "what changed and when" mid-show.
- Automatic reconnect.A dropped connection retries on its own with a fixed backoff and reconnects the moment the other side comes back — no manual intervention.
- Tunable SRT latency buffer.Per-source and per-destination SRT latency is configurable, so you can trade a little extra delay for more jitter/packet-loss resilience on a rough remote link, or tighten it up where the network is clean.
- Written in Rust.No garbage-collector pauses, no crash-prone memory bugs — the kind of stability that matters when the gateway needs to just keep running through an entire show.
Peplink integration
- Live WAN status.Per-device WAN interface status (online/offline, connection type) straight from Peplink's InControl2 cloud API, including real cellular signal metrics (RSSI, SINR, RSRP, RSRQ) for a standby cellular failover link, not just the active WAN.
- PepVPN/SpeedFusion tunnel stats.Per-device tunnel RTT, cumulative TX/RX, packet loss, and tunnel state, so a dropped stream on a bonded link shows why, not just that it happened.
- Connected client discovery.Every device's currently-connected LAN clients — manufacturer, MAC, IP, connection type — with a one-click link to a client's own web admin UI when it has one reachable.
- Automatic source correlation.SRT/UDP sources are automatically matched to the Peplink device whose configured CIDR their connecting IP falls in — a "via `
`" badge shows up right on the source's Operate-tab tile.
